If you like minimalist design, these bottle openers are for you

Elegant, functional, simple – these bottle openers have all the characteristics of well-executed, minimal design.

These minimal brass and blackened brass bottle openers are designed by Mike Boylan and his partner Danielle Pecora who have a design studio in Brooklyn called Hewn Goods.

Mike has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and Danielle has a bachelor’s in Product Design and a master’s in Architecture. They got these products off the ground with Kickstarter.

Mike and Danielle’s inspiration comes from their travels and from their passion for good food and well-crafted cocktails.

Hi! 👋 We thought we’d stop by and introduce ourselves to those of you who don’t know us. We’re husband-wife team Mike Boylan and Danielle Pecora. We founded HEWN a little over a year ago as a creative outlet for some of our ideas that we weren’t able to pursue at our jobs as an industrial designer (Mike) and an architect (Danielle). When we’re not working on HEWN you can usually find us chasing around our very active 2 year old, dreaming of our next travel destination (serious wanderlust affliction), or cooking at home. Feel free to ask us anything in the comments below. ⠀ +⠀ Following photos – riding on the back of a xe om (motorbike taxi) in Vietnam, riding on the East River Ferry with our son, Jamie.⠀ +⠀ #hewngoodsco #founders #founderstory #madeinusa #dreambig #creativehappylife #entrepreneur #startup #entrepreneurlife #entrepreneurship #smallbusiness #supportlocalbusiness #mompreneur #girlboss #supportsmallbusiness #shopsmall
