For the love of cushions

There are too many cushions in the world but not enough sofas and beds to fill them with. Here are a few nice ones I spotted recently.

Cushions with writing

I imagine this in a beach house designed with textures of aged wood; painted with calming shades of blue and sand; and decorated with shells and rope knots on the wall.

I’m not usually into cushions or posters with philosophical messages on them but I love the material this is printed on – it’s a heavy cotton, as thick as denim, and feels like it would hold out well in a happy house with lots of children.

Patterned cushions

This lively and cheerful cushion would be perfect for a teenager’s bedroom.

These flowery patterned cushion come with a heavy price tag but they’d brighten up your day every time you looked at them.

Flowery cushions – €185 each from Brown Thomas

I would never pay €215 for a cushion but I like the vibrancy of this pattern – it would only suit very specific décor though as it’s quite strong.

Cushions with animals

I’m in love with anything that has animals on it. My favourite out of this lot is the one with the deer and the forest. Matching wall canvases can be purchased for everything featured from Next Home.

This is the first of many cushion fixes I’ll post on this blog – I just can’t get enough of them.
